DESCRIPTION

FrancoFeel is a show featuring music in French from Canada, France and anywhere around the world where French is sung. Join Suzanne every second Tuesday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 for her show and learn a few things about French culture as well. You don’t have to understand French.  You can just feel it !                                             

INSPIRATION 

I have always been surrounded by music. Whether it be my dad playing boogie-woogie on the piano, my brother drumming his heart out in his bedroom next to mine, or my husband and me playing the turntable, music has always been there. And so has French language. Starting with CBC’s 1960s show Chez Hélène, speaking and listening to French have always made me happy. While unexpectedly spending a Covid winter on Cortes, I listened to Cortes Radio and thought, if I ever lived here, I could host a radio show, in English, that plays French language music. And voilà, here I am. Laissez les bons temps rouler !
